End of Weekend, Sunday Evening Update

Image
Hi Readers! I hope the weekend left everyone prepared and rested for another charge through the week with September already beginning!  We are getting started on remote learning here in Lacey.  Scarlette will be starting online this week and next week. We are not sure when the lift on COVID-19 regulations will be, but for now we are getting our technology and registration ready and taking our down time as reassurance as the Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas holidays are coming around the corner like a boomerang.  Ed, Scarlette, and I are just having a quick break before Ed goes back to work this evening.  It is a long Sunday for him and I am getting a quick organization post in, while also letting anyone who cares to read in on our next couple of months in our new city and during this uncertain time with the virus.  Thank goodness we have not had to test or felt any symptoms! We are staying strong and healthy thus far and haven't had any issues. We ar...

Pressed Impressions and Missed Mentions — Sample Piece

Image
Hi all!!! Happy Friday!!!  Great News -  My sample piece came through the mail today through Barnes and Noble. If you’re interested in reading while I’m writing another text, send me a message and I can order more copies and mention the small cost. Keep in mind this is a first sample and I will be working on a published text in the next couple of years!  We are grabbing Mediterranean food and sitting at a park on this nice day. Eddy is doing a forever long run tomorrow and Scarlette and I will be looking for something for the two of us to do for girls time.  Hope everyone has a great weekend ! - Trisha Allen -

As soon as it arrives, it will be posted for those who are interested. It was supposed to be much sooner, but we are patiently waiting! I have been writing and taking classes on my down time and will be continuing doing just that.  In the mean time, here in Washington we have been staying up in high hopes. The kids’ school year will be starting in September but only starting online. This online learning should be quite the curve to start first grade but we are up for the challenge. Scarlette is the most active one on the block with lots of friends and learning to ride her bike on her own.  We had a few chances to get her signed up in soccer,  dance, and gymnastics but are post poning until later when everything is more accessible after the virus. We are going to continue doing gymnastics since she seems to be showin...
