Mid Week Send Off Before The Weekend

Hello all, I don’t have anything too important to let readers know this post, but still wanted to make a mid-week post about some daily thoughts, projects, and quick fill-ins. We started our countdown for Christmas and Eddy to come home and have been putting peppermints in a jar to keep Scarlette interested and moving forward. Everything here is still remote. We have done a couple school tests out of the house to see if Scarlette will have any advanced options, but it looks like she will still be put in her own level. From last weekend when we found an old fashion place to take photos, I have been thinking to find more photo ideas like that to hold onto through the years. Also, I would like to get more canvases of some photographs we have that could pass as professional. Scarlette wants to also try a drawing class so I will be on the search for one of those. Those are our upcoming hopes for next year after we’re back from Illinois over the holidays. Rusty is getting old .... so we may ...

Christmas Tree and Coming Home Countdown!

Hi All!  Here are the two crafts we did to boost Holiday creativity and count the days until Eddy is home from training in Louisiana so we can start cheering our way home to Illinois :D I encourage you to use recyclable items as crafts if there are families and kids who have extra time on their hands.  Also, don’t under estimate the glee and encouragement in count downs!  Xo, Trisha Allen 

A Long November

 Hi all family and friends who have read my first posts and who like to stay with The Allens on our new place and stay in Washington.  I hope any readers know they can always comment, chat, and share their stories as well.  Eddy, Scarlette, and I would appreciate any warm words.   We have been liking it here this far.   Eddy has had a regular schedule and has been back at normal hours which we have liked since in previous years we have had to work, schedule, and communicate around a lot more trainings than this year.  It has been a year where we have had a lot of usual time together, however, this November he is back at training until two weeks before Christmas.  I cannot wait to travel back to Illinois! Scarlette is so ready to visit home also. We have a long November to prepare Christmas decorations, gifts, and plans after hopefully still having a rested Thanksgiving.
