Summer Break! Summer Reading!

Image
Happy Tuesday Everyone!  After a hot weekend, in the hundreds, I can comfortably write a post without a sweat. It’s summer break! Completely done with school for this year and got the second dose of the vaccine... so we are moving on from a bog of almost two years. Scarlette gets a dollar for every book she reads this summer. I’ve been staying on top of my reading as well. I’ll post a list of reads at the end of my post that I have been able to spend time on this year.  I’m so happy to be staying on my feet at this time of pregnancy. We were still able to do walks at Mashel Falls and at the bottom of Rainier. Hoping to still have so many small visits and trips to make around Washington. We don’t know if our time is limited here.  We’re moving furniture and preparing for baby to come. No baby shower for the second since we’re so many hours from home, but we are getting ready in the best wishes. Scarlette got all of my old furniture and we replaced some new furniture for us...

Summer Vacation, Last Vacation with three before our fourth addition ~

Hi All , It’s a late night post, but I wanted to add a short read to document our newest trips, tales, and treasures.  We took a trip to Colorado and it almost slipped my mind and it suddenly struck me when we arrived that it would be our last vacation as a family of three! It was nice and we are still moving along these nine months and three trimesters until our fourth addition. We revisited Garden of the Gods. That was also my last trip before being pregnant with Scarlette and it made me remember several years ago.  Eddy did his first incline and also a few other hikes while my brother, Scarlette and I did pool time and went down to a reservoir with some friends! I laid flat on my stomach in one of those inner tubes on the lake, definitely needed to let the belly float haha! We got to see more friends that live there. Also revisited Manitou Springs.... one of my favorite places. I hope we can travel there more especially when I’m back at my usual out door workout capabilitie...
